Privacy Policy
At Annoor Test Labs, we operate an enterprise operational management portal (referred to as the "Nexus Platform") to coordinate laboratory schedules, fixed asset logs, test reviews, customer feedback, and operations reporting. This Policy describes how Annoor Test Labs gathers, manages, safeguards, and shares data when you use our mobile application (the "App") or our web services.
1. Scope & Acceptance
By logging into the App or registering for a client/employee account on the Annoor portal, you accept the practices outlined in this Privacy Policy. This App operates as a business-to-business (B2B) enterprise platform and is restricted to registered company employees, field technicians, location managers, and authorized corporate clients. It is not intended for the general public.
Our mobile application operates in an Android WebView configuration loading security-cleared web views from our primary domain. Native integrations are only utilized to coordinate file handling, local downloads, and push alerts.
2. Information We Collect
To ensure correct operation of job scoping, inventory logs, and staff tasks, we collect the following categories of information:
| Data Category | Specific Items Collected | Reason for Collection |
|---|---|---|
| Identity Credentials | Full name, phone number, email address, corporate branch location, and profile photograph. | To set up user accounts, maintain system logging, and audit database edits. |
| Operational Records | Work orders (Job Cards), test items, parameter specifications, pricing adjustments, inventory returns, and field expenses. | To process site tests, verify asset conditions, and log commercial bills. |
| Location Services | Technicians' assigned branch location. We do not track continuous GPS location, but require location updates to allocate tasks. | To schedule work orders to the nearest qualified technicians. |
3. How We Use Collected Data
We process information to support operations and satisfy contractual agreements:
- To schedule and allocate site inspections and laboratory testing to field staff.
- To log inventory transactions (warehouse tool issues, branch transfers, returns, and damages).
- To generate client proforma invoices, log payments, and track outstanding ledger sheets.
- To track operational expenditures, mileage logs, and outsourced labor claims.
- To send automated customer feedback requests via custom templates or messaging interfaces.
4. Media Files & Device Storage
The App requests access to read and write to device storage. These permissions are strictly scoped to user-initiated actions:
- File Upload (Camera / Storage): Authorized staff upload photos of expense receipts, physical damage discovery on equipment, or PDF field reports directly to the portal databases.
- File Download (Download Manager): Clients and Accounts managers download official laboratory reports and invoice PDFs. The App uses the native Android `DownloadManager` to place these files directly into the device's public `Download/` folder.
These features are optional. Users can deny media permissions, which will only restrict their ability to upload receipts or save files from within the app.
5. Push Notification & Token Management
To alert technicians of new task assignments and urgent store calibration alerts, the App utilizes Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
- Device Registration Tokens: We collect and register unique FCM device tokens when you install and log into the App.
- Token Security: These tokens are treated as sensitive, stored securely on our central database, and never shared with third parties. They are utilized solely to address push payloads to your device.
- Opt-Out: You can disable notifications at any time through the system settings of your mobile device.
6. Security and Encryption
We maintain secure physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards to defend your information:
- All data transmitted between the App WebView and our backend is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
- User account passwords are encrypted using secure cryptographic hashing algorithms before being stored in our MySQL databases.
- Access matrix controls restrict users from reading files or records outside their assigned roles.
7. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We retain data for as long as necessary to support operations, resolve disputes, and comply with state audit rules. Employee profiles are retained during their active service with Annoor Test Labs.
In accordance with Google Play developer console regulations and privacy rights, users (employees or client accounts) can request the deletion of their login credentials, personal details, and profile photo.
To request the deletion of your account, you can submit an email containing your account username and registration details to our Data Protection Officer at:
Email Account Deletion Request*Note: Operational database logs, test signatures, and audit trails required for financial audits will be anonymized rather than deleted to respect corporate records retention laws.
8. Policy Compliance
While this App serves a regional enterprise portal, we maintain compliance protocols corresponding with standards including CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act) and GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) regarding your rights to access, update, and request copies of your personal information.
